Job summary

NuCO2 is seeking a District Manager to drive customer service and distribution performance across 15–20 depots, leading 100–125 staff including CDL drivers and technicians. You will oversee safety, operations, and financial results while traveling up to 50% to ensure consistency and improve performance across locations.

You will develop frontline leaders, execute staffing plans, and monitor FSM-based routing and scheduling to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five+ years leading a remote, field-based team in service or distribution.
• Lead multi-site operations across dispersed locations.
• Strong FSM systems knowledge for routing/scheduling/optimization.
• Hands-on field leader with up to 50% travel.
• Solid operational and financial acumen with budgets and metrics.
• Proven leadership able to set direction and develop people.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent written/spoken communication across levels.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and DOT requirements and apply them.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Area Managers, Depot Managers, and Supervisors for safe operations and performance.
• Own service and distribution performance across the district, including routing and delivery.
• Set clear expectations aligned with KPIs; hold leaders accountable for safety and financial results.
• Drive safety culture; ensure compliance with policies, OSHA, and DOT rules.
• Utilize FSM systems to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage performance of frontline leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives and optimize resources.
• Conduct site visits to verify safety, facilities, and inventory readiness.
• Lead short-term staffing and process improvements; investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Approve payroll and related admin for direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
