Job summary

NuCO2 is seeking a District Manager to lead a 100–125 person field-based organization across multiple states from Atlanta, with preferred locations including Charleston and Charlotte. The role focuses on safety, operational execution, and financial results through direct leadership of Area Managers, Depot Managers, and Supervisors.

You will drive routing efficiency, scheduling, and service delivery while maintaining consistency across locations and ensuring compliance with OSHA/DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience leading a remote, field-based team.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site operations across dispersed locations.
• Strong working knowledge of FSM systems and routing/scheduling optimization.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Strong operational and financial acumen with budgets and metrics.
• Proven leadership capable of setting direction and developing people.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven approach.
• Effective communication across levels with leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Area Managers, Depot Managers and Supervisors to ensure safe operations and performance.
• Own service and distribution performance across the district, including routing efficiency and delivery execution.
• Set expectations aligned with KPIs and hold leaders accountable for safety, service and financial results.
• Foster strong safety culture; ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Utilize FSM systems to monitor performance and drive improvements in routing and scheduling.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development for field staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives and optimize resources.
• Review financial and operational performance to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate safety, condition and inventory; drive corrective actions.
