Valero is seeking a Manager Regional Optimization Planning to develop and implement feedstock supply strategies and maximize profitability across the refining system. The role uses linear programming or economic analysis to select the most profitable feedstock and aligns inventory, consumption, and capacity with refinery operations.

The position is salaried exempt, with on-site work at Valero's San Antonio location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering required.
• 10 years of experience in Refining or Petrochemical industries.
• On-site work at Valero San Antonio location required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute feedstock strategies to maximize profitability for the Valero refining system.
• Run refinery LP models to evaluate crude economics and supply options.
• Develop and present monthly feedstock strategy to upper management.
