Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring a Regional Business Services Officer (Property Manager III) in Edinburg, TX. You will coordinate and execute administrative support for all agency programs, manage leasing, space planning, contracts, and asset management to ensure smooth operations across state offices.

You will lead service delivery, advise on policy, analyze data, and supervise staff, with travel up to 40% and a regular day shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in business operations and processes.
• Preferred experience in contract management, facility leasing and facility management.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred supervisory, managerial, professional, or technical work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility services including leasing and space planning; ensure timely safety and compliance.
• Coordinate contracts for regional offices (janitorial, security, HVAC, etc.).
• Analyze space use and oversee moves/relocations to optimize operations.
• Prepare reports and support program management with data analysis.
• Supervise staff and assign work; collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Conduct regular facility reviews and safety inspections; respond to emergencies.
