Job summary
Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager/Plumbing in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for our stores and facilities.
The role requires a valid plumbing license, 3–5 years in facilities services, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Facilities maintenance and building maintenance experience (3–5 years optimal)
- Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience
- Leadership skills: able to lead, motivate, and develop others
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Problem solving: root-cause and breakdown analysis experience
- Customer service orientation
Responsibilities
- Travel 50% within the region and maintain restricted licenses as required
- Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Produce reporting and analytics on operations and performance
- Keep contractor licenses up to date and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements and scope of work
