Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Facilities Services Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for facilities across a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure efficient and sustainable operations, and collaborate with Store Managers and Leadership on service needs.

The role requires travel, strong licensing credentials, and proven reporting/analytics capabilities to ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required or 6 years’ experience in retail operations or related area.
• Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
• Current NM Master Electrician or Plumbing License, in good standing.
• Maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in state of employment.
• 3–5 years of general facilities services / building maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Communication/interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills including root cause analysis.
• Customer service skills.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as required by codes

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians.
• Ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably.
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.
• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Perform reporting and analytics.
• Participate in training programs on regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections.
• Maintain contractor licenses and good standing with relevant authorities.
