Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee performance, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across a multi-site region in Charlotte, NC.

You will lead a team of technicians, manage budgets, drive process improvement, and strengthen client relationships while aligning with company goals and safety culture.

This role requires travel up to 40% and the ability to respond to emergencies, with responsibility for PM programs and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience with multi-site facilities.
• Experience supervising teams in a facilities environment.
• Ability to lead operations and maintenance across multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (3-5 nights per month).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a safety-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within a region and build trust with customers through proactive communication and updates.
• Drive accountability for KPIs such as work orders, service quality, and process adherence.
• Ensure achievement of financial targets including budgeting and cost control.
• Supervise a team of 5-10 technicians and promote a safe, productive work environment.
• Manage trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, janitorial, etc.) and lead vendor coordination.
