Job summary

Walmart seeks a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead a regional team ensuring safe, efficient operation of store facilities in Gulfport, MS. The role involves significant travel, regulatory compliance, and coordination with managers and vendors.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, reporting, and ensuring licenses and permits are up to date. A Master Plumber license and a related engineering or construction management degree are preferred.

• 3-5 years general facilities services / building maintenance experience
• Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience required

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to maintain facilities regionally
• Travel ~50% within the region to oversee work
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on needs
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Produce reporting and analytics on maintenance activity
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory compliance
• Participate in training to stay compliant with codes and standards
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as required by codes
