Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Regional Category Manager for Fabrications to shape the North American fabrications category. You will guide supplier strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive improvements across a $60M direct spend and a $175M fabrication portfolio.

Based in any Eaton NA office (Beachwood OH preferred) with up to 25% travel, this role emphasizes cost reduction, resiliency, and cross-functional collaboration with ESSP and other centers of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement or program management experience required.
• No relocation is being offered; candidates must live within 50 miles of an Eaton site.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience in carbon sheet steel, stampings, sheet metal fabrication, or turned parts helpful.
• Familiar with should costing, eRFQs and eAuctions.
• Track record of driving category metrics and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global category strategy for metal fabricated components and related spend in North America.
• Oversee approximately $60M in direct Lugs & Neutrals spend and support $175M in fabrications spend.
• Lead supplier negotiations, business reviews, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and centers of excellence to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
• Monitor category metrics and ensure resiliency and long-term value.
