Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking a Regional Director for the 1890 Cooperative Extension Program in Charleston. You will lead the regional office, supervise staff and volunteers, and coordinate with state and local agencies to implement the Plan of Work.

This role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage programs, budgets, and partnerships while advancing Civil Rights and program KPI goals across the region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 5 years of extension and supervisory experience.
• Experience planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs.
• Ability to recruit, train and manage volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of regional staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate programs and KPI implementation.
• Develop relationships with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Oversee program delivery across workshops, seminars, and outreach.
• Ensure compliance with funding and civil rights guidelines.
