Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a hands-on Area Experience Leader to manage 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and drive performance across locations.

As a visible leader, you’ll balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, aligning priorities to improve client outcomes, revenue, and operational results across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven coaching and accountability skills.
• Experience managing operations and metrics across locations.
• Capacity to lead through change and adopt new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple offices and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operations outcomes for the offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, staffing, facilities, and seasonal preparation.
