Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices. You will lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to deliver expert guidance and a welcoming client experience.

The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring readiness, compliance, and strong business performance across locations. You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors, performance outcomes, and feedback to strengthen teams.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and take actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Own office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
