Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality consultative client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on presence, and drive both client outcomes and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership capable of coaching, development, and accountability.
• Ability to drive business and financial results across multiple locations including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize across locations.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and maintain in-person presence.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 assigned offices, ensuring standards are executed with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations, using insights to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors while demonstrating client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors, client interactions, and outcomes to strengthen team execution.
• Own office readiness and operational execution across offices, including staffing, facilities, and compliance.
