Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high‑quality client experience across locations. You will develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coach teams, and ensure office readiness with staffing, facilities, and compliance.

The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, driving revenue, performance, and client satisfaction while traveling between offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experiences.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring standards are met with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviours, feedback, and performance outcomes to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength/high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results, acquisition, and retention.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery across offices.
• Manage office readiness including facilities, supplies, recruitment, onboarding, and seasonal demand.
