Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, team performance, and business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.
• Ability to adapt to change and manage competing demands.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices, ensuring standards are executed with discipline and consistency
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations, using insights to reinforce strengths and address gaps
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting clear expectations and coaching for performance
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior, feedback, and performance outcomes to strengthen teams
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve business results
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery
