Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive revenue and operational performance.

Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on presence, you’ll lead staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while building high-performing teams and ensuring readiness for seasonal demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and reinforce strengths.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Own office and workforce readiness, including facilities, recruiting, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
