Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 offices. You will ensure a high-quality client experience, set expectations for consultative service, and drive business results across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, maintain office readiness, and lead teams with hands-on presence. The role balances strategic oversight with in-office leadership to deliver client outcomes and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountable performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across locations and exercise independent judgment.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance in operational areas.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for client escalations and complex issues.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.

• Identify patterns and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
