Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to manage a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a superior consultative client experience across all locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive both client outcomes and business performance.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations, traveling between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities; hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to travel frequently to maintain presence across offices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring standards and discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations, using insights to improve outcomes.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to achieve performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and feedback to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength across offices.
• Own revenue, growth and operational results across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and act to improve business results and retention.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs, and day-to-day operations across offices.
• Prepare for seasonal demand and ensure office readiness.
