Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll set expectations for service, day-to-day operations, and business results while coaching Tax Professionals and Client Services teams.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and performance across offices to sustain client trust and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations with labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and build bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and ensure readiness.
