Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure an exceptional client experience across locations. You will align consultative service, operations, and team performance to deliver consistent results.

As a hands-on leader, you will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive staffing, facilities, and compliance, and own revenue and business outcomes while maintaining in-person presence across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching from observed behaviors, outcomes, and feedback to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
