HHS is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to lead housekeeping programs across multiple hospitals in the St. Louis area. This role requires extensive travel between facilities and a commitment to safety, quality, and patient comfort.

You will recruit, train, and coach a high-performing EVS team, ensuring OSHA and Joint Commission standards are met while maintaining budgetary goals and service excellence. A strong leadership presence is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience managing salaried and hourly employees.
• Experience in environmental services, healthcare, or related industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel 100% and relocate for advancement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing EVS team across multiple St. Louis area locations.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment built on teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards across facilities and inspections.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with facility leaders to achieve performance goals.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement strategies.
• Develop budgets and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, The Joint Commission).
• Provide hands-on leadership and travel between sites.
