Job summary

Octagon is seeking an Event Executive (Regional & Workshops) to drive planning and execution of marketing initiatives for a Home Improvement client. You will support store grand openings, in-store activations, and workshop platform promotions, collaborating with the Octagon team and client representatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating events from planning to on-site setup, managing vendors, and leading on-site staff while maintaining timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in event planning and execution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills with tight timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on-site activities and operations (catering, security, staffing).
• Write event guidebooks, activation recaps, and related documents.
• Identify and manage outside vendors for event implementation.
• Manage inventory of event materials and promotional elements.
• Lead on-site staff including brand ambassadors and temporary staff.
• Coordinate with internal Octagon teams and client departments for related programming.
