Job summary

Dentsu in New York seeks an ERM Director to lead regional risk management and execution, aligning with global risk standards and board expectations. You will partner with senior leaders to mature the risk program, interlock with governance bodies, and drive risk awareness across business units.

You will design and refine risk taxonomy, oversee risk identification, and advance Riskonnect usage, reporting to executives regionally and globally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the regional ERM Framework.
• Collaborate with regional ERM Directors and Group Risk Office to mature methodology.
• Act as a trusted advisor and risk SME to leadership on risk priorities and mitigations.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and aggregation across clusters and markets.
• Lead risk workshops and risk reviews with leadership teams.
• Assist in refining the enterprise risk taxonomy and playbook.
• Partner with risk owners to maintain a data-informed risk baseline.
• Oversee ERM framework design and execution across regions.
• Lead evolution of the regional risk register for external threats.
• Oversee Regional Governance processes and risk response tracking.
• Collaborate with Regional CEO, CFO, CPO, GC, Ethics & Compliance, and others.
• Drive adoption of ERM tools (e.g., Riskonnect) and risk data visualization.
• Produce high-quality risk reporting for executives.
• Develop and deliver ERM training and awareness programs.
• Drive consistency in risk scoring and control effectiveness.
