Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a field-based Clinical Specialist to lead regional clinical support for Cardiac Ablation Solutions. The role partners with sales, develops and executes strategies, and aligns resources with regional priorities while expanding adoption of ablation technologies.

The position requires strong electrophysiology experience, clinical leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% within the territory. Competitive benefits and an incentive plan accompany base salary in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience supporting electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management, cardiovascular therapies, or related clinical healthcare environments.
• Experience leading projects, programs, teams, or people in a clinical, sales, training, or healthcare setting.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional clinical support programs and initiatives to optimize resources, strengthen customer engagement, and deliver clinical value.
• Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that support ablation solutions growth and business objectives.
• Align Clinical Specialist resources with regional priorities and customer support requirements.
• Coach, develop, and manage Clinical Specialists through performance management, goal setting, and individual development planning.
• Recruit, hire, and build a diverse pipeline of Clinical Specialist talent to support future business needs.
• Provide clinical guidance and technical support during electrophysiology ablation procedures and customer interactions.
• Facilitate training and education programs for field personnel, physicians, hospital staff, and allied health professionals.
• Manage operational responsibilities including reporting, credentialing, expense management, inventory utilization, and compliance‑related activities.
