Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager (REM) to lead environmental program execution across NY/NJ sites. The role is onsite five days a week with up to 50% travel, and offers strategic support for expansion and regulatory compliance.

You will drive risk assessments, sustain improvements, and build partnerships to meet environmental goals while shaping a culture of environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Master's degree and PE certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive environmental operational excellence across multiple sites in NY/NJ.
• Ensure compliance with air emissions, storm-water, waste and wastewater laws and permits.
• Develop relationships with business partners to support environmental performance.
• Promote an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Provide strategic environmental support for future growth and expansion.
• Facilitate root cause analyses for environmental incidents and drive corrective actions.
