Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of six years progressive engineering experience including four years supervisory experience.
  • PE license required or must obtain within nine months of start date.
  • This role requires strong leadership of regional operations and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and operational oversight of the seven regional office operations.
  • Direct workload allocation, project management, and policy development for compliance initiatives.
  • Lead regional operations efforts with environmental consultants, local officials, media, and lawmakers.
  • Assist with budget preparation and maintenance for the DEMLR.
  • Draft and review civil penalty assessments and related enforcement actions.
  • Travel statewide; hybrid telework option available.
