Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior Estimator to manage and administer estimating functions across regions, including budgets, staffing, and work assignments. You will ensure standardized estimating systems and maintain historical data for bid results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years of related experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer estimating functions including budgets and staffing.
• Implement policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Support project managers in procurement and change orders.
• Supervise preparation of market cost studies and data.
• Provide leadership by reviewing project details and strategies.
• Coordinate with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability.
• Maintain approved estimating systems and cost database.
• Maintain historical data for estimating man-hours and bid results.
• Review final estimates and proposals for accuracy.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Perform additional duties as required.
