Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a project team across multiple Southeastern RTL office locations, including Boca Raton. The role emphasizes mentorship, recruitment, compliance, and high-quality client delivery.

Travel to various locations is anticipated as part of project needs. The ideal candidate holds a PE license with a Bachelor’s in Electrical or related field and brings 12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology; PE license preferred.
• 12 years of related experience; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies by project.

Responsibilities

• Support project leadership with career planning and mentorship.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees to support project workload and firm growth.
• Ensure quality client experience and delivery of projects on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee team utilization, direct labor, and profitability.
• Coordinate with TDMs and mentors for staff assignments and training.
• Ensure team compliance with QA/QC and health & safety procedures.
• Deliver sales support as coordinated with TDM.
