Job summary

Roquette is seeking an EHS Specialist to advance safety and environmental programs across our Wilmington, DE; Newark, DE; and Spring House, PA sites. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on support, promoting compliance and a strong safety culture while collaborating with scientists and manufacturing teams.

This regional, on-site role requires cross-site interaction, training delivery, and leadership in EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a scientific field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant EHS experience in pharmaceutical or industrial fields.
• Extended knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, OSHA compliance, GDPs, EPA, DNREC, and PADEP regulations.
• Adaptable, independent and solutions driven with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in cross‑functional global teams and build positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, implement and promote EHS culture, policies and procedures across sites.
• Interact with technical teams and site leads; on-site attendance with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
• Split responsibilities equally between laboratory, production and office settings.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support training and tracking of online trainings as required of employees.
• Coordinate safety audits, CAPAs for incidents, and report EHS performance data.
