Job summary

Gulf Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Regional Safety Tech to support client locations across Louisiana and Florida.

This role conducts audits, inspections, trainings, incident investigations and compliance activities to promote a proactive safety culture in construction and industrial environments. Travel between locations is weekly; schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and after-hours incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job site evaluations.
• Identify workplace hazards and develop corrective action recommendations.
• Assist with implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead and support incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, MUTCD, FMCSA and related regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of changing regulatory requirements and best practices.
