Job summary

Gulf Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Regional Safety Tech to support multiple client locations across Louisiana and Florida.

The role provides EHS support through audits, inspections, training, incident investigations, and compliance activities to promote a proactive safety culture in construction and industrial environments. The Regional Safety Tech will work with leadership to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 3–5 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA, and related safety regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job site evaluations.
• Identify workplace hazards and develop corrective action recommendations.
• Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, MUTCD, FMCSA, and applicable regulations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks across locations.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Travel regularly throughout Louisiana and Florida based on safety needs.
