Job summary

Sibelco is seeking an H&S Manager for the Chicago Ridge region to lead EH&S policy implementation and continuous improvement across multiple sites in GR NAM. The role requires coaching safety professionals and driving engagement to achieve injury-free work sites.

The candidate will communicate progress to leadership, manage regulatory compliance, and develop comprehensive training programs, with 50% travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent plus 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading multi-site safety compliance programs in manufacturing environments.
• Certified Health & Safety professional training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EH&S policies and processes.
• Direct new corporate policies and standards at all sites.
• Communicate EH&S progress and issues to leadership and sites.
• Track and report EH&S metrics to GR NAM leadership.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive plant safety training program.
