A leading materials company is seeking an H&S Manager to oversee environmental health and safety across multiple sites in Chicago Ridge. This role involves developing and enforcing safety policies, tracking EH&S metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulations such as OSHA. The position requires 75% travel within the region and offers a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of related professional and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and local HSE regulations, including OSHA.
• Experience in establishing EHS policies and processes to drive safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and improvement of EH&S policies.
• Track and report EH&S metrics to leadership.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations.
• Develop and oversee plant safety training programs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies on EH&S matters.
