Job summary

Exemplar Global seeks an EHSS Regional Manager to guide environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs across multiple facilities. You will lead regulatory compliance efforts and partnerships with site leadership to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in a regional setting.

The role requires 8+ years of EHSS experience, ISO 14001 expertise, and strong leadership. Significant travel (30–50%) is expected to support diverse sites and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of EHSS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• ISO 14001 experience required.
• CSP or other EHS certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs across multiple facilities.
• Administer OSHA and EPA compliance programs and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct EHSS audits, identify compliance gaps, and oversee corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, reporting, trend analysis, and root cause activities.
• Support emergency response planning and preparedness efforts.
• Develop and maintain EHSS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Oversee environmental reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Serve as the regional EHSS subject matter expert and coach site teams.
• Support ISO 14001 implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Report EHSS performance metrics to corporate leadership.

A leading manufacturer of building and construction materials, is seeking an EHSS Regional Manager to support multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities across a designated region. This position will serve as the primary environmental, health, safety, and sustainability leader for the region, partnering with site leadership to drive regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a culture focused on zero injuries and environmental stewardship.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, NFPA, and related regulatory requirements
• Experience supporting multiple locations or regional operations
• Background conducting compliance audits and managing corrective action programs
• Experience with incident investigations and EHS management systems
• ISO 14001 experience required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• CSP or other EHS certifications preferred
• Master's degree preferred
