Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to lead and advance the EHS program across field operations, outages, construction projects, and facilities. You will mentor Senior EHS Coordinators, partner with operational leaders, and strengthen the CARE framework and Protect What Matters commitments.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, incident investigations, and risk management, with ~50% travel to client locations, outages, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years related EHS experience and 5 years leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, OSHA 500, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid/AED; strong OSHA, contractor management, incident investigation, and risk management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a continuous EHS improvement program across field operations and facilities.
• Coordinate with senior EHS Coordinators and operations leaders for safe work execution.
• Lead risk assessments, pre-job planning, and Job Hazard Analysis reviews.
• Conduct contractor reviews, field audits, and site inspections for compliance.
• Drive incident investigations and corrective action programs; support ISO 45001 initiatives.
• Foster safety culture, leadership engagement, and data-driven decision making.
