Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Senior EHS Coordinator to lead the safety programs for Field Services within the Power Generation Services unit. You will ensure a safe, healthy workplace and regulatory compliance across sites.

The role includes training managers and subcontractors, conducting injury investigations, maintaining injury-tracking systems, and coordinating environmental policies with EPA and OSHA standards. Heavy travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years related experience; OSHA 500 or OSHA 30 certificate required
• BCSP certification preferred; ability to obtain within one year
• Current First Aid, CPR and AED certifications a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required; strong reading & writing of regulations
• Proficient with database, risk management, project management, and MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement safety policies and procedures per OSHA and regulations
• Train managers, team members and subcontractors on safety practices and handling chemicals
• Dispatch to sites to detect hazards, develop corrective actions, and verify implementation
• Conduct injury investigations and prepare materials for regulatory or legal use
• Administer programs tracking injuries and generating required accident reports
