Job summary

Valmont Industries seeks a Regional Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead EHS strategies across multiple sites in a defined region, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with corporate objectives. The role partners with senior leaders to enhance safety culture, incident response, and continuous improvement.

The position requires overseeing regional EHS programs, liaising between corporate and site teams, and traveling up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 7+ years in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability or related discipline; or Associate’s with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Track record of making effective decisions even with ambiguity.
• Ability to lead and support corporate, division, and site teams responsible for EHS risks.
• Experience with an enterprise-wide safety information system/database.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a defined geographic region with multiple sites or businesses.
• Report to the EHS Director and manage potential direct reports.
• Lead regional implementation of EHS strategy across sites/businesses.
• Drive cross-site initiatives and align with corporate standards.
• Support development and maintenance of Global EHS Standards.
