Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced EHS Leader to drive strategy and performance across multiple sites in the Great Lakes Region. The role includes coaching site leaders, implementing region-wide standards, and integrating EHS into business planning and capital projects.

The candidate will lead investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee risk controls, with a focus on continuous improvement and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• Progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, distribution, or complex operations with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading or supporting EHS programs across multiple sites or dispersed operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements and regulatory obligations across the region.
• Experience developing EHS management systems, risk controls, and performance improvement plans.
• Experience in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and regulatory interaction.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS strategy, priorities, and performance across multiple sites in the Great Lakes Region.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to site leaders, EHS professionals, and employees.
• Establish regional expectations and adapt programs to site-specific risks.
• Integrate EHS requirements into business planning, daily management, and capital projects.
• Drive accountability for hazard control, corrective actions, and sustained EHS performance.
