Job summary

BJC HealthCare's Central Staffing Office (CSO) seeks a Regional Float Medical-Surgical RN for a long-term assignment across MO & IL. You’ll float to one hospital for 2–12 weeks, then rotate to another within the system, delivering patient-centered care on Med-Surg units during three 12-hour nights.

This role offers LTA differentials, mileage reimbursement, IL RN license reimbursement, and structured onboarding with access to the BJC RN Career Ladder.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience (required).
• Current Missouri RN license + ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.
• ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
• Strong adaptability with ability to integrate into new teams quickly.

Responsibilities

• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Utilizes leadership skills to foster a healthy work environment and mentor others.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care and patient outcomes.
