Qualifications

• Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university, with preference given to an upper-class student or graduate student.
• Fields related to Urban and Regional Planning, Public Policy, Economics, Public Administration, or related field are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects related to economic development programs and data analysis.
• Gather, summarize, and analyze data on economic outlook, demographics, and best practices.
• Prepare factsheets to distill information for grants or loans and internal/external partners.
• Design marketing materials using online tools like CANVA and others.
• Communicate across MORPC departments and with county partners and stakeholders.
• Assist with content for the Drive Investment newsletter and related outreach.
