Job summary

The Columbus Partnership, based in Downtown Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Project Manager to lead competitive economic development projects across the Columbus Region, coordinating proposals, site visits and incentives to drive investment.

You will partner with state, regional and local economic development colleagues to deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple priorities and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, economic development, real estate, business or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in economic development, including support for existing industry and new business attraction.
• Strong understanding of economic development principles, practices and project processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for competitive economic development projects.
• Manage business attraction and expansion projects from inquiry to outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality client service and manage communications, milestones and deadlines.
• Develop proposals, site portfolios and incentive packages with partners.
• Plan and execute site visits, coordinating stakeholders.
• Build knowledge of Columbus Region assets and opportunities.
• Understand JobsOhio programs and assist with site programs.
• Support strategic real estate development initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and partners.
• Maintain CRM records and manage multiple projects.
• Exercise professional judgment and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
