Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks an EB/EL coach to oversee a regional portfolio, ensuring high-quality EB/EL instruction and compliance across campuses. You will coach teachers and leaders, conduct side-by-side observations, and deliver targeted PD while tracking daily activities for grant-funded support.

You will travel up to 40% to campuses, support ELD implementation, and partner with the Florida Academic Services team and VP of Schools to meet EL growth targets and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Deliver professional development for EB/EL support programs such as SIOP and related trainings.
• Coach leaders using established Leader Competencies with fidelity.
• Coordinate with regional and campus leaders on EB/EL priorities and programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site staff development on data-driven instruction for ELD.
• Conduct classroom observations focused on language development with actionable next steps.
• Support data review and campus visits to improve EL student achievement.
• Identify instructional strategies and interventions to support diverse learners.
• Lead meetings with regional leaders to review EB/EL outcomes and goals.
• Ensure 100% EB document compliance using Ellevation.
