Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float to provide individualized care for residents with complex needs in the South Hills, Moon Twp, and Uniontown areas. This hourly, non-exempt role serves as a regional staffing resource and requires travel between locations.

Shifts are full-time with a minimum 32 hours per week and 3 weekend shifts monthly. Wage is $20.00/hr with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Training is provided, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support to residents.
• Act as regional staffing resource across assigned locations.
• Cover shifts, including 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Document observations and progress notes.
