Job summary

Knight Transportation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Driver Recruiter to drive staffing strategy and build a robust driver pipeline across Company fleets. You will mentor recruiters, ensure DOT compliance, and partner with Terminal Managers to meet growth goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years transportation experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to analyze statistics and data.
• Proven leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Ability to manage and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Driver Recruiter process and develop staffing plans to maintain driver staff across all fleets.
• Manage the driver recruiting process and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws andDOT rules to maintain safety standards.
• Achieve regional hiring goals set forth by the Company leadership team.
• Coach and counsel recruiters to encourage employee development and performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Terminal Managers and Business Unit leaders to meet business needs.
• Oversee the new driver internal website experience and job board alignment with department objectives.
• Structure training and direct data integrity of the Driver Recruiting staff to enhance skills.
• Direct Recruiting department for improved Driver retention to meet goals.
• May be responsible for other areas within Recruiting (Dedicated, Job Creation, Coordinators, etc.).
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
