Summary:
The Regional Distribution Sales Manager develops existing and new business within assigned accounts in the distribution channel in their geography, aiming to drive profitable growth across the DwyerOmega portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, establish, and develop relationships with key influencers and decision makers within your accounts.
  2. Develop a sales plan with initiatives to grow top revenue accounts, build customer heat maps, relationship maps, and competitive analyses, and monitor effectiveness.
  3. Work with distributor partners to establish target customer lists and track progress using CRM funnel.
  4. Network within the industry to develop new contacts.
  5. Create and maintain a growth plan defining sales pipeline, run rate, budgeting, and account focus.
  6. Develop channel partners and customers to ensure distributor coverage and proper service.
  7. Utilize Salesforce.com CRM for sales planning, contact management, and pipeline tracking.
  8. Collaborate with sales leadership to set and achieve KPIs.
  9. Understand your distributor's business, markets, objectives, and marketing strategies.
  10. Establish regular review cadences covering channel program adherence, KPIs, performance, and contractual obligations.
  11. Participate in internal meetings as required.
  12. Report on product acceptance, suggest modifications, and develop new products based on field feedback.
  13. Provide market intelligence on competition to sales and product management.
  14. Use all DwyerOmega sales collateral during calls.
  15. Act as a liaison between customers and engineering for new product development.
  16. Adhere to expense policies, core values, and mission.
  17. Own your accounts and results.
  18. Mentor colleagues and be a team player.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Meet and exceed sales plans.
  • Track leading indicators such as sales activity, pipeline, opportunities, quotes, and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years sales experience preferred or equivalent combination.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
