Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

As our RDC Manager, you will:

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained according to manufacturers’ recommendations, are roadworthy, and operate within legal requirements (e.g., payload, tachograph).
• Establish and maintain personnel files for all RDC staff, ensuring records are up to date.
• Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings, documenting minutes.
• Ensure drivers are instructed in vehicle operation, procedures, quality, and security.
• Cover delivery routes during staff holidays, absences, and for ad hoc volume drops.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must hold a current full Irish license.
• Manager CPC desirable (or willing to acquire).
• Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations related to the working time directive.
• Organised and flexible to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Smart personal appearance.
• Ability to complete a DBS check.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for regular contact with customers.
• Team-oriented.
• Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
