Milton Rents is seeking a Regional Dispatcher and Transportation Fleet Manager to coordinate dispatch and delivery across New York locations, ensuring DOT compliance and top-tier customer service. You will work with drivers, branch teams, and leadership to optimize scheduling, route planning, and fleet readiness.

The role requires 3+ years in dispatch for multiple sites, familiarity with Texada/Samsara, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dispatching experience in a multi-location environment.
• Experience managing transportation fleet administrative functions (registration, permits, compliance, fuel/toll programs).
• 1+ years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Valid and active driver’s license required.
• Experience in construction or equipment rental industries preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and oversee the dispatch of CDL Class A and B Drivers across New York locations.
• Schedule equipment deliveries and pick-ups with drivers, branch teams, and operations staff.
• Use Texada, Samsara, and related systems to route equipment, monitor fleet progression, and support operations.
• Organize and prioritize daily dispatch activities with field and branch staff.
• Promote a safe, DOT-compliant work environment and support drivers and service teams.
• Collaborate with operations and sales to align on customer needs and schedules.
• Assist with fleet acquisitions/disposals and vehicle registrations.
• Assist with HUT and IFTA compliance and reporting.
• Coordinate and track required vehicle and equipment inspections; obtain overweight permits as needed.
• Administer Bestpass, fuel cards, and related fleet support tools.
• Support continual improvement of dispatch and fleet processes to boost efficiency and service.
