Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related experience in disability services or higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with staff training and supervision, develops and implements disability accommodation procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of disability law and accessibility best practices.
  • Serves on university committees to promote disability access & inclusion.
  • Provides database administration for AIM.
  • Oversees accommodated testing administration upon faculty request.
  • Coordinates advance planning of accessible course materials for students with vision/hearing disabilities.
  • Provides case management and advocacy for 250–500 registered students with disabilities.
  • Engages with faculty to respond to inquiries on procedures and best practices.

This position is responsible for implementing reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities and leading accessibility initiatives in collaboration with campus partners.
