Job summary

Renewable Acres is seeking a Director of Construction to lead all field construction operations across multiple regions and projects, including utility-scale solar and battery storage. You will oversee a team of Regional Construction Managers, set standards, and drive safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.

With 7+ years in construction leadership and 5+ years managing region operations, you will align development, engineering, procurement, and asset management to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction leadership experience in utility-scale solar, EPC, renewable energy, or heavy civil construction.
• 5+ years managing regional operations leaders.
• Willingness to travel regularly to regional offices and project sites.
• Strong scheduling, project controls, contracts, cost forecasting, and labor productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Construction Managers across IL and PA to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Set clear safety, scheduling, staffing, quality, and client-satisfaction goals with minimal change orders.
• Standardize field reporting, dashboards, forecasting, and closeout processes across regions.
• Develop annual performance goals and leadership development plans for regional teams.
• Recruit and onboard Construction Managers as the company grows and expand into new markets.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and drive project turnover to O&M.
