Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors seeks a Regional Director, Retirement Group to drive proactive sales and deepen footprints with insurance companies and defined contribution stakeholders. You will partner with advisors, engage senior client teams, and coordinate cross-functionally to deliver superior client experiences while growing revenue and AUM.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, investment expertise, and in-person engagement across a hybrid footprint in major markets.

Qualifications

• Extensive track record of success in asset management wholesaling or institutional sales.
• Established distribution relationships with key decision-makers and gatekeepers at top-tier corporate retirement aggregators, national recordkeepers, and institutional retirement plan consulting firms.
• SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required; must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement marketing, sales, and client service programs for current clients and prospects.
• Work with senior Retirement and Institutional team members to fully develop opportunities.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with staff at all levels of a client’s business.
• Provide constructive feedback on market strategies and competitive trends to the executive, sales, and investment management teams.
• Lead complex technical investment discussions with an institutional audience.
• Act as an intellectual contributor, thought leader, and trusted advisor to our prospects and clients.
• Partner with advisors to streamline practices and shift toward fee-based, advisory models.
• Establish yourself as a thought partner to high-production wealth management teams and internal gatekeepers.
• Deliver high-impact presentations on Dimensional’s investment philosophy and performance at complex-level meetings, regional conferences, and branch office sessions.
• Coordinate with internal product specialists and client relationship teams to support complex advisor needs.
• Serve as a high-visibility spokesperson for Dimensional’s academic research and investment theory within the competitive defined contribution marketplace.
• Own territory P&L by increasing revenue and AUM through strategic placement of Dimensional’s investment suite.
